Limited Warranty Policy

If a warranty is offered upon a sale, the warranty policy covers defective parts or items sent incorrectly.

Our warranty only covers the parts, and not shipping or any other charges incurred.

Labor costs are NOT covered for any part sold by Zaxon Auto Parts. If a part is deemed defective by a Zaxon Auto Parts representative, then we will first attempt to replace the part and if a replacement cannot be sent we will issue a refund for the total sale amount, once the part has been returned.

If a reorder is placed by the customer prior to the completion of a return (the return is delivered to the address provided in the RMA) then the customer will be required to make a payment for the second part. Return shipping costs will not be reimbursed.

If a part is returned and it does not fit the specifications listed on this warranty and return policy, then Zaxon Auto Parts reserves the right to charge a 25% restocking fee and withhold shipping charges incurred.

Zaxon Auto Parts is not responsible for items that are delivered to the address stipulated on the customer invoice, but not taken into possession by the customer.

Zaxon Auto Parts does not supply customers with parts for testing purposes only, or for parts that are ordered incorrectly by the customer. Please verify with an expert prior to ordering the part that you require for your vehicle. We supply parts as listed in the invoice, ensure all the details are correct prior to finalizing the payment.

Zaxon Auto Parts offers up to a 30 Day warranty on SOME parts sold to customers, as stated on the invoice. If an item is returned after the warranty period, it will not be refunded. All parts must be received within 30 days of the original shipment date, in order to claim the warranty.

The following listed are exceptions that will either void a warranty or are exceptions to the 30 day warranty offered on some parts:

Transmissions: We guarantee that it will shift properly with good gears and bearings. Note that it is important to thoroughly clean all the components of the transmission including the oil pan prior to assembly. Also change the oil and replace the filter in automatic transmissions. It is also important to replace all seals and gaskets prior to installation, along with running a flush and flow test on the cooler and lines. Also engage the torque converter in the front pump. For manual Transmissions it is important to install a new clutch, pressure plate, and slave cylinder. The fly wheel must also be turned prior to installation. Then fill and check the fluid to ensure it is at a proper level.

Engines: Defined as complete assemblies including oil pan, manifolds, timing belts & covers, fuel injection or carburetor, we only guarantee the long block. Gaskets, seals, manifolds, hoses, oil pan, timing belts & covers, fuel injection or carburetor, are not. All accessories defined as but not limited to turbos, starters, air compressors, alternator, power steering pumps, optical distributors or electrical water pumps are not included under warranty; unless stated in the customer invoice. If these parts are purchased individually and a warranty is sold with the part, then they will be covered under our standard warranty. Other items that might require replacement are the water pump, distributor cap, spark plugs, wires and timing chain. The parts covered in the last statement are not covered, since they are considered high wear parts.

Orders of "Block Only" (Short or Long Block) are guaranteed to be rebuildable only.

Seals: Seals in turbos are not guaranteed to be perfect. These seals may need replacing immediately or during the warranty period.

Instrument and Speedometer Clusters: Mileage is not guaranteed. For certain vehicles such as but not limited to BMW, Mercedes, Cadillac, Lexus, Audi etc. the customer will have to get the unit reprogrammed at a dealership. Zaxon Auto Parts will not return or refund any units unless the customer provides written documentation from an authorized dealer stating that the part was reprogrammed and still failed to function properly.

Carburetors: The only guarantee we offer is the ability for carburetors to be rebuilt.

Rotors: Rotors will be guaranteed against cracks or non-machinable surface damage. Normal wear of rotors can leave them slightly warped, so they are only guaranteed to be machinable. Cylinder heads: The rings and valves on cylinder heads may need to be re-machined, they are not guaranteed to be warped or cracked.

Electrical items: Electrical parts such as body control modules, transmission modules, engine computers and transfer case are only guaranteed to have the correct manufacturer part number. Again, these parts are not sold for testing purposes. All electrical parts are sold only with a replacement warranty, and up to 1 replacement will be sent in order to correct the sale of a non- working module. Modules may require a reset by the dealer, and in the event that a reset occurs the part cannot be returned until it has been verified by the dealership that the part in question has been reset properly. Any electrical parts that have been modified in any way will not be eligible for a refund.

Struts: The warranty on struts only stipulate that it be in working condition; the actual ride quality of the shocks or springs is not covered. The guarantee covers that the springs and strut tower will be in working condition, but the shocks may need to be replaced.

Control arms: Any rubber bushings or non-metal parts attached to the control arms are not guaranteed, but the control arms are guaranteed to be true and straight. Bushings and Ball Joints are not guaranteed on parts

Doors: Doors are considered complete assemblies and we only guarantee the door shell, they are not guaranteed to come with accessories such as windows, window regulators, hinges, handles or interior panels.

Other body parts: Body parts such as fenders, bumpers, hoods, quarter panels and header panels are not guaranteed to come with hinges, hood ornaments, latches, headlights, trim or grilles.

Colors: Customers may request specific colors for body parts but a color match is never guaranteed. Zaxon Auto parts recommends that body parts should be repainted upon delivery to match your vehicle. We do not offer returns on parts that do not match the color of your vehicle.
